Every family has stories to tell.

Special events at certain times like weddings and birthdays. Funny things that happened, sad memories, stories about family treasures, heirlooms or interesting relatives. It’s all Family History, Family Traditions and Memoirs.

These are the things people talk about when they get together but have you written them down anywhere? Write your family’s history, who else will?

Many families have photos of relatives and they have no idea who the person is or why the photo was taken.

Look at this woman …

Look at the character in her face…. Imagine the stories she could tell….

“Our Family- Our Story” is a website to encourage you to document your family stories, the history and family traditions so they are captured for future generations as journals, photo albums or in electronic form.

You will learn how to capture these stories for your family to enjoy now and pass on to the next generation. You don’t have to write a long biography but rather a collection of little stories or anecdotes, the events in life that make us laugh or cry.

We will also encourage you to stick your photos in an album and help you write your own stories around the photos because you too have a story to tell.
